How to homeschool in West Virginia

File a one-time notice of intent with the county superintendent or board on or before the day you start. If the child is enrolled, file before withdrawing. It gives each child's name, address and age, an assurance of instruction in the five subjects and a yearly assessment, and evidence of your qualification. File a new notice if you move counties. File a termination notice if you stop while the child is of compulsory age. The superintendent cannot deny it.
