How to homeschool in Alabama

Most families enroll in a church school that offers a home program. You file a one-time enrollment form with the local superintendent, signed by you and the school administrator. The other route is a home-based private school. It reports its enrolled children to the superintendent five days after public school starts, then reports new enrollments and unexcused absences.
