Missouri homeschool requirements
- Who can teach
- Any parent. No diploma or certificate required.
- Days and hours
- 1,000 hours a term, of which 600 are in the core subjects and 400 of those at the regular homeschool location. Hour and record rules end at 16.
- Subjects
- Reading, math, social studies, language arts and science (the 600 core hours).
- Testing
- No testing or evaluation required.
- Records
- For each child under 16: a plan book or daily log of subjects and activities, samples of work, and academic evaluations. Only the prosecuting attorney may review them.
