You can delete your OneHomeschool account — and the data that goes with it — at any time, directly in the app. You do not need to contact us first.
Delete in the app
Web (onehomeschool.com)
- Sign in and open Settings.
- Go to the Security tab.
- In Danger Zone, choose Delete account, type
DELETEto confirm, and verify your identity when prompted.
Mobile app (iOS & Android)
- Open Settings in the app.
- Go to Security.
- Choose Delete account and follow the confirmation steps.
What gets deleted
- Your user account (login, profile, personal information).
- If you are the only parent/administrator of your household: the entire household is permanently deleted — all child profiles and their records (schoolwork, grades, attendance, transcripts, chores, messages), uploaded files, and settings — and any active subscription is canceled.
- If your household has other administrators: only your own login and personal data are deleted; the household and its records remain with the other administrators.
Timeframe
Deletion takes effect immediately: your data is removed from our production systems as soon as you confirm. Residual copies in encrypted backups age out of our backup rotation within a limited period (currently up to 35 days). Payment and tax records that the law requires us to keep are retained for their legally required period — see our Privacy Policy.
Prefer email?
If you can’t access the app, email support@onehomeschool.com from the email address on your account and ask us to delete it. We will verify the request and delete the account for you.
