How to homeschool in Nebraska

File two forms with the Department of Education, online or on paper: the Statement of Election and Assurances and the Authorized Parent Representative form. File promptly when starting, then by July 15 every year. The first year needs a certified birth certificate for each child.

Any parent. You affirm on the form that the instructor is qualified.

1,032 hours elementary. 1,080 hours high school.
Subjects
Language arts, mathematics, science, social studies and health.
Testing
No testing or evaluation required.
