How to homeschool in South Dakota
Within 30 days of starting, file the alternative instruction notification form with the Department of Education or your district. It gives the child's name, birth date and resident district, and your signature. Attach a certified birth certificate or a notarized affidavit. File again only if you move districts or enroll the child in a school.
