How to homeschool in Tennessee

As an independent home school, submit a notice of intent to the local superintendent before each school year. It lists the children's names, ages and grades, where you teach, the curriculum, planned hours and your qualifications. Send an attendance report at year end, and test each child in grades 5, 7 and 9. Church-related school umbrellas and accredited online schools are separate options that report for you.
