- Who can teach
- Instructors must be competent. The state does not judge this for parents.
- Days and hours
- Substantially the same as public schools, about 186 days.
- Subjects
- No required subjects. The state recommends the usual subjects and a high school pattern of 4 English, 3 history and government, 3 science, 3 math, 1 PE, 1 fine arts and 6 electives.
- Testing
- No testing or evaluation required.
- Records
- No records required. Keep complete records for transfers and college.
