Story of the World
A classical, narrative history program that carries kids around the world and through time in a four-year cycle — K through 8.
Story of the World, by Susan Wise Bauer, tells the history of the world as one engaging narrative — read-aloud chapters that work for the whole family at once. Across four volumes it moves from ancient times to the modern age in a classical four-year cycle. Each volume pairs with an Activity Book full of maps, coloring pages, projects, comprehension questions, and recommended reading. Our guides break every chapter and activity into a simple daily plan so you can open the book and teach.

How the four-year cycle works
